Bride

I knew I wanted something special almost form day one. With both being Irish the Celtic design almost cam naturally. Her love for hearts made the Celtic Heart design feel so right. Our birth stones made it our own. The next question was when where and how to propose. My first thoughts was my favorite time of year the McCarville Camp out but that would have had me wait way to long. So then I thought up a couple of times and places to propose but the felt forced. Until we where up at her land on May 12th the day before mothers day at her land.

My mom had a feeling it was happening that weekend. But telling/showing her parents with out tipping our hand was the next part. (Yes I asked her dad and they both knew it was coming.)  So on our way back home Saturday afternoon we convinced her parents to go to see Dark Shadows. (wasn't that hard since they wanted to go anyway.)

Groom

I was sitting out at my land about ready to head back home. Nick kept saying I got to do one more thing. I looked away as Nick got down on one knee and pulled the ring out as I turned to look back at him. I couldn't stop crying as I held him. So exited I didn't pay much attention the way the ring looked until Nick started to explain the design. He had both of our birth stone in it mine to look out at him and his to look back at me. Next was the symbol of our heritage and love the Celtic hearts down the side. After going to the movies with my parents it was time to eat at Gordon Biersch and call my brother to tell him the good news. The next day mothers day at breakfast we showed Grandma and started to tell the world.
